Hitting a Snag
In the thrilling scheme of their daring escape, the Anglin brothers and Morris slipped out of their cells like phantoms in the night. But poor Allen West hit a snag. His signal to the gang was a beacon of false hope, as he had grossly miscalculated the dimensions of his escape hole. His freedom was still trapped within the cold, unforgiving walls of his cell.

At first, Morris was hell-bent on aiding his partner in crime. He strained every muscle, sweat trickling down his brow, but the obstinate cement remained unmoved. The collective realization dawned on them – West was a goner. With heavy hearts and a dash of reluctant pragmatism, they resolved that their comrade, West, was destined to be the unfortunate sacrificial lamb in their clandestine operations.
