When it comes down to it, many companies expect their employees to be loyal to them in times of need. And whilst this might be a fair expectation to place on people, the stream works both ways. Otherwise, what is this person gaining by being loyal to a company or person that won’t reciprocate the favor?

It comes as no surprise that new Twitter CEO, Tesla, and Space X founder Elon Musk is not the best boss going around… Mary Beth Brown was loyal to Elon Musk for many years, some even likened their relationship to that of Tony Stark and Pepper Potts of Marvel. But when she asked for a raise, he said that she wasn’t integral to the company because he could do her job instead.
