#21: Don’t Stereotype

Here’s one way to challenge gender stereotypes. Who says only women can wear Minnie Mouse costumes? It takes a brave man to don a polka-dot dress and bow, knowing full well that a bunch of strangers will grope him. But hey, at least he had the sense to keep his mouth shut.

I can just imagine him standing there, arms akimbo, as hordes of sweaty park-goers squeeze him from all sides, whispering things like, “This is the weirdest thing I’ve ever done, but I kinda like it.” And yet, through it all, our brave Minnie Mouse soldiered on, a true hero of the Disney world.
