#63: She’s Not Your Therapist

One physical therapist shared that patients sometimes get a little too comfortable and cozy with the staff that’s treating them, but not in the way you might think. What she meant was that patients often open up to the staff and share some of their deepest, darkest secrets with the medical staff.

She never knew how to react to these confessions – because how do you react to a complete stranger sharing with you stuff you rather not know? She did the right thing when she just kept her mouth shut and kept all that information to herself. We’re not sure why people decided to confide in her, but it’s not her job to give them advice on such personal matters.
