You can apply the same idea for boosting your candle for other decorations, too. Here is another super simple, super festive way to add a little cheer to your home during the holidays. Find an old apothecary jar or use a hurricane vase as your vessel, and fill it with many small, sparkly ornaments.

You can use half the amount that you would generally need by using this clever hack. Rather than buying enough filler to fill your container, you can cheat and use less. Insert a paper tube in the center and add the filler all around it. The tube will take up half the space, saving your need for extra filler. Nobody will know the difference!
