#28: Make Every Little Detail Magical
What good is a Christmas tree without string lights? The string lights on your Christmas tree are there to add some shimmer and magic. They should look as if there are little magical lights sprinkled throughout your tree. They highlight all the ornaments and brighten the dark winter nights. However, when that eyesore of a cord doesn’t blend in well with your tree’s branches, it can be awfully distracting.

Instead of ruining your tree with this glaring cord, try embracing it. You can turn it into just another decorative addition to your tree. Remove the bulbs and then spraypaint the string and sockets something festive. You can choose gold or silver for a classy styling, or maybe red to embrace the theme of Christmas colors.
