Undercover at Disney

The Disney theme parks always seem to run like a well-oiled machine. Guests almost always don’t have to worry about real-world issues when they visit the happiest place on earth, such as seeing litter or worrying about traffic. But how do Disney staff members make sure that nothing nefarious is going on inside their park? We never see any security guards walking around, right?

Turns out, whenever you visit a Disney park, you are always surrounded by security guards keeping an eye on things. You’re just not supposed to notice! Throughout the park, security guards are dressed undercover as the dorkiest, most obvious tourists so they blend right in with everyone else. Just another clever Disney detail that makes the atmosphere of the parks so unique.
