The Disney Princess Diet

If you think about it, the beautiful cartoon princesses we see in Disney movies have pretty unrealistic body types. They can inadvertently create unrealistic beauty standards, which is wild because they’re not even real- they’re cartoons! It seems these standards carry over to the women who play these princess characters at the parks. Some former princess actresses have revealed the tough standards they had to meet while working as a face character.

Former cast members have dished that Disney has strict weight and appearance expectations for their princess actresses in particular. The cast fridge is allegedly full of low-calorie foods, and many coworkers support each other by working out together or going on cleanses to maintain their appearance. We are all for being healthy, but potentially losing your job for gaining weight sounds extremely unhealthy.
