#6: Hugh Laurie

Which came first, the actor or the Jazz Pianist? (laughter). Hugh Laurie is an all-round funny guy; whether it’s in the hit medical drama House or in various other roles, he is an endearing actor who really knows how to land a punch while making an audience think at the same time.

But it’s only if you’ve seen some of his solo material that you might know of his musical talents. While I haven’t been witness to his jazz piano skills myself, good old youtube has revealed to me some drum solos, as well as impressive skills on a mouth organ. Excuse me, I’m going to go search “Hugh Laurie jazz piano”.
