#47: Randy Johnson

I wonder if there’s a correlation between celebrities finding themselves at the height of various fields and later taking on a stint in photography. There seem to be quite a number here who have done so. Maybe they’re so used to being the ones in the spotlight that once they leave it, they become fascinated by the other side.

Photographers, by nature, stay on the sidelines but determine who or what is in the spotlight and in what way those subjects will be depicted. We can imagine that would be quite a tempting exploit to undertake for someone who has spent such a long time being watched and documented.
