#33: Dermot Mulroney

If you thought Dermot Mulroney’s versatility lay only in the diversity of roles he plays, then you were mistaken. It turns out the romantic comedy and Western star can also show off his skills on the orchestra floor, and even if you’re not the biggest fan of classical music, we know you might be showing up at the next concert to get a glimpse of him.

It must be hard being one of the other musicians. You rock up every day to rehearsals in your relatively low-paying job, playing Viola number 3, slogging every day to back up the big stars, and leaving the hall anonymously at the end of the night. Meanwhile he shows up on concert day for a guest appearance and still has hangers-on waiting outside the stage doors.
