#29: Arnold Schwarzenegger

Arnold Schwarzenegger is kind of a confusing character. He’s so prolific in such diverse fields that he makes you wonder about the very nature of reality. How is it even possible for one man to go from bodybuilding to Hollywood to governing the state of California all in the space of a number of years?

It’s really amazing that we, as a population, allowed Arnie to make those transitions and accepted him as a legitimate placeholder in each of those realms. By all rights, we should not have taken him seriously when he stepped into politics, but somehow, he won us over, and now it just seems completely normal.
