#20: Gerard Way
It seems Gerard Way was a little ahead of his time. Not being able to decide on a single career path is supposed to be a Gen Y attribute but this Gen X-er was pioneering it first. I’m sure he was one of those kids who, when asked what he wanted to be when he grew up, rattled off a long list of professions.

I guess it’ll be a good thing if more elementary schools around the world are populated by those sorts of kids. If they grow up to be more Gerard Ways then we’ll be blessed with more and more cultural treasures. We need more kids who are forming bands and writing comic books at the same time.
