#6: Navigating Coffee Consumption
Starting your day with coffee is a ritual for many. Diabetics, however, should tread carefully. Whether it’s a latte or espresso, coffee won’t cause diabetes but can spike blood sugar levels by up to 8%, a risky increase for diabetics.

Decaf black coffee is advisable for diabetics who can’t resist coffee. Adding cream and syrups only increases the sugar content, making it more harmful. Sticking to decaf minimizes blood sugar spikes, making it a safer choice.
