9. A True Family Man

Sigh. There’s something about this one that resonates deep within my soul. There’s nothing worse than when you’re minding your own business in your own darn home, and you get a surprising announcement people are coming. It really does feel like they are getting into your privacy and personal life in a very uncomfortable and personal way.

Some family members just seem to be like that and will surprise you out of the blue, coming with the immediate assumption you will accommodate their presence. Can you please give me a 24-hour heads-up next time at least? Preferably more. Like a week. Or a year.
