16. The True Monster Was Hiding Among Us All Along

Costume parties are pretty fun, especially around Halloween-time. Part of the joy is in dressing up to the point you are barely recognized by those who are supposed to know you well, kind of like Clark Kent-ing it up.

This comic decided to put an absurdist twist on that concept, making a monster disguised as a human rather than vice versa. That really takes the whole Hollywood concept of “humans are the monsters” in a completely different direction.
