12. I Get By With a Little Help From My Friends

Teamwork makes the dreamwork, but also, you gotta pull yourself up by your bootstraps, or so we’re told. We’re all so caught up being independent these days, we sometimes forget just because you can do something, doesn’t mean you have to.

Really, this is a heartwarming reminder that while yes, we can all do it alone, we don’t have to and really it just makes the experience better to let others do something with us. It’s also important to give others the space to help, because the act of giving is something we need just as much.
