Alabama – Dogs

While Alabama may not be teeming with a variety of large predators, it proudly hosts a colorful cast of alligators, black bears, deer, and venomous snakes. Surprisingly, these creatures are not the state’s top troublemakers. In fact, the canine residents hold that title. In 2017, two unfortunate fatalities were chalked up to dog attacks, a number that slightly increased in 2023. However, these incidents are far from common, so there’s no need for widespread panic.

In the heart of Birmingham, a woman found herself in the throes of an unexpected adventure whilst cycling. Her unfortunate encounter was with a beast of a dog that attacked her. It was only later that her lifeless body was discovered by unsuspecting passersby. A chilling autopsy report confirmed the terrifying ordeal she must have faced, as it revealed the cause of her demise to be a savage canine assault.
