Kansas – Cows

At first blush, cows might seem an odd choice for the ‘deadliest creature’ title in a state, but Kansas isn’t your typical state. With a bovine population that’s off the charts, it’s a veritable cow-topia! This cow-dense landscape gives us a unique Kansas-style barbecue and, unfortunately, a higher probability of cow-related mishaps. So, in the land of the Wizard of Oz, cows might just be the most fearsome creatures around!

These colossal creatures pose a unique challenge for ranchers and farmers. Often, they find themselves squeezed into close quarters with these behemoths, a situation that can tragically escalate into fatal encounters. Even the open roads of Kansas aren’t exempt from bovine-related hazards, with unfortunate motorists occasionally finding themselves in deadly collisions with these wandering giants. The interaction between humans and cattle is indeed a risky ballet of coexistence.
