#2: The Drama
Whether it’s rain, a slug in their path, a drop cheerio, or any other slight inconvenience, I always end up hearing “It’s the End of the World as We Know It (And I Feel Fine)” by REM when my kids have their tiny tantrums. Some kids eventually balance out and take the little inconveniences in stride.

Other kids hone that drama into full-blown life crises by the time they’re twelve. It’s said that little personalities are generally set by age seven. Keep that in mind when raising your crotch goblins because no one wants to deal with the never-ending “woe is me” for the next twenty years.
