Food for All
Food is at the heart and soul of every culture across the globe. The Golden Temple, in Amritsar, Punjab, India, is the center of the heart of the town. It is one of the holiest sites of Sikhism. There, citizens of all socio-economic statuses gather together to enjoy free and delicious Indian foods that are offered every single day!

This event is known as The Langar. The largest free community kitchen in the world offers food to anyone who wants it. People of all religions and faiths come to feast there. Around 50,000 come to eat every day. That number can grow to 100,000 people around the holidays. This tradition helps bond locals and travelers alike.
