Sure, the U.S. spends the most on weddings worldwide. However, it’s not always about how much money is spent. Oftentimes, Indian weddings are longer celebrations, so there’s more time to make spectacular memories! In the U.S., weddings are a weekend affair, three days at the max. Typically three days is the minimum for an Indian wedding. 

Of course, not everyone in India has an extravagant, long wedding. Although, it’s not out of the norm for a northern Indian wedding to take four to even seven days!
