A Combination of Old and New

India is unique in that it is a very old country, yet, it is constantly updating and progressing. However, whether it be customs, architecture, or transportation, sometimes tourists can see interesting incorporations of the old and new. Take this photo as an example! Sure, many Indians have a typical business job and drive nice cars.

At the same time, a huge portion of Indians still the traditional, small farm life. Around seventy percent of people in rural areas depend on agriculture as the main source of their livelihood, while eighty-two percent of them are small. Not all of them have or need cars. If their transportation gets tired or sick, occasionally, they need a lift!
