Narrowing down a guest list for a wedding can be difficult, messy, and downright stressful. But it’s also necessary. As much as you’d love to invite everyone, things like budget and venue capacity inevitably force you to whittle down your invites. There are plenty of polite ways to nicely tell someone that you are having a small wedding and can’t invite them. This, however, is not one of those polite ways…

Instead of a nice “save the date” announcement, some people received “apology” cards from this couple. Not only did they have to open the envelope to find out they weren’t invited, but the couple went on to say that they’re expecting these non-guests to give money to fun their honeymoon! That seems like a stretch.
