Dinner Is Not Included

Things can get tricky and awkward when it comes to discussing money. Weddings, as we have said many times before, can get pretty expensive. Couples can find themselves in situations where they feel like they have to ask for financial help from family members. This couple was trying to figure out another way of asking for help to pay for their wedding.

Instead of cutting their spending somewhere else, they were thinking of asking guests to pay for their own meal in their wedding invitations. While they tried to rationalize it by saying that paying for the food would replace buying them a gift, it’s still kind of tacky. We would have loved to read the Facebook responses to this question.
