#33: I’m Sorry, What?

The truly disconcerting thing about this cake is that the strangely cut frosting mouth almost makes it look like a pie. There are many sorts of cake decorating crimes that I will let slide, but cutting the frosting in a way that makes a cake look pie-like? That is preposterous.

I also have to wonder what exactly was the intention of this particular face cake. It’s almost like whoever decorated it couldn’t quite decide what emotions this cake was undergoing or supposed to convey to its consumers and just sort of gave up in the middle and accepted a slightly creepy but ambiguous expression.
