#70: Maury Christmas and a Povich New Year

Maury is one of the oldest and most beloved talk shows in the country. It’s been running since 1991 and is still going strong, despite the changes that have been made in the show’s premise and production over the years. Throughout the years, the show was most widely known for one of its more controversial themes – the paternity tests segment.

If paternity tests were around during that time, this could’ve made for a very interesting episode! The dramatic announcement of the host, Maury Povich, “You are not the father!” was an iconic part of the show, but this segment was also highly criticized. Unlike the segment on the show, however, this Christmas card is entirely harmless, and just brilliantly clever!
