This story supports the idea that the average bridezilla does not have any capacity for empathy at all. Not only did the father of the groom suffer a heart attack, but he actually ended up dying from the event. As you’re probably guessing, the bride was not so happy about that.

If I were the groom, and my would-be wife wanted to prevent me from being with my father during his last hours, I would not postpone the wedding. I would call it off entirely. The bride in question clearly does not have a healthy worldview or an understanding of the importance of family.
