People have a hard time facing their truths because they are scared of how the public, especially those who know them, will react to it. It is an unforgettable anecdote for some, but for others, it’s their life, and it’s best if the secret is kept secret. Even if the cop didn’t reveal what happened, I hope the man was able to be his true self eventually.
