Ninja Turtle Coming Through

With the possibility of losing a finger or even a couple of them (yes, snapping turtles can do this because of the combination of the sharp mouth meant for cutting and the force of its snap), this cop risked it all for duty. Even though there’s no record of a snapping turtle killing a person, this cop is beyond brave just by risking it! 

One thing is for sure; he needs to get a new nightstick as soon as possible. Who knows when this incident will happen again? Perhaps they should even start carrying two or three nightsticks if snapping turtles are an often occurrence at their base and animal control are not nearby.
