The New Generation
It’s always good to educate kids on where their food comes from. It can help them appreciate all the hard work that goes into the things that they eat and drink on a daily basis. This overheard conversation definitely shows how the eating habits of the younger generations have changed compared to a few decades ago.

When most people hear the question, “Where does milk come from?” they automatically think of dairy cows. This kid, however, immediately thought of almonds! Plant-based diets are gaining in popularity, and this kid probably eats less meat and dairy than the average kid who grew up a few decades ago. This conversation probably feels very LA, since veganism and plant-based diets are pretty common in the city.
