It can be really easy to get sucked in by an influencer’s Instagram feed. We see the beautiful vacations, fashion, and perfect houses and feel like we can have a life like that, too. The thing is, most of the stuff we see on social media is fake or exaggerated. Nobody’s life is actually like that! That’s what this dad was trying to tell his daughter while they were out and about one day.

He bluntly told her that she would have to get a new job if she kept living her life like an Instagram influencer. He’s not wrong! Social media can make people feel like they have to keep up with the latest trends, but all that can distract from having fun in real life. If you’re only doing things in order to take photos for the ‘gram, where’s the fun in that?
