Did Anyone Say 90210?

Whenever you see a TV show or movie taking place in a high school, it’s pretty obvious most of the actors aren’t actually high school-age kids. Nevertheless, most media pushes the stereotype that LA rich kids look a certain way compared to the rest of the country. This is just a product of the kinds of things Hollywood produces, and the way actors feel they have to look in order to “make it.”

This guy was overheard talking to some extras on set, and it’s pretty funny. He was reminding the background extras that they shouldn’t come to set looking like LA high schoolers with false eyelashes, lip fillers, designer clothes, or the other usual cosmetic stuff aspiring actors do to impress directors. He was making a joke, of course, but we can’t help but see a sliver of truth too.
