Read the Room, Lady

As in every city, Los Angeles has some major disparity. There are people who are über wealthy walking next to people who have almost no money to their name. It’s always a good idea to be mindful of the type of language you use in public and to adapt to new ways that language is being used. This lady didn’t seem to get the memo, however.

Someone was overheard complimenting a woman’s outfit, and she responded with a really cringe line. She called her look “homeless chic” which would be problematic in any situation, but it was even worse because a homeless person was sitting nearby. Uh… how do you even respond to that?! The homeless woman had a few choice words in response to that lady’s comment.
