Don’t Live to Work

There’s the popular saying “I don’t live to work, I work to live,” meaning someone’s job provides them with the means for them to enjoy their life, not spend all their time in an office. This woman obviously lives by that motto, and we could all probably take a few tips from her. As an LAX airport employee, she went on the intercom to make an announcement.

Most of the time the people making airport announcements are no-nonsense and pretty serious. This woman was a breath of fresh air! She apologized for her croaky voice, saying it was her 70th birthday and she had done a lot of partying in celebration. We can only hope to be on her level when we get to be her age. For now, we’ll just continue falling asleep before 10pm and feeling like we want to die the day after a night out.
