Human Interference

I’m the first to say that people are the worst. This image only further shows that, as it directly compares bamboo grown during years of tourist activity and a single stalk of bamboo grown when people weren’t traveling. The difference is wild, and a bit disappointing when you think about how beautiful our nature could be if we stepped aside and didn’t interfere.

See what I mean? If people didn’t feel the need to destroy things, look at how beautiful nature could be. It’s a shame, but I guess there’s a lesson to be learned here: you can still enjoy traveling to new and wonderful places without destroying the local nature! Doesn’t seem too hard to do, right?
