Adopt, Don’t Shop

What a difference a kind and loving home environment can make in the life of a dog, and vice-versa. These two photos are of the same dog, years apart, if you can believe it. The first one shows how scary coming into a new home and an unfamiliar environment, especially if they’ve been through trauma already.

Look at how happy this pup is now! He looks so different in the two photos, mostly thanks to his change of attitude. Adopting dogs is a wonderful thing to do, even if they need some time to adjust. This dog is now living a happy and healthy life, despite seeming like he’d hate it at first. We all need time to adjust, don’t we?
