In a strategy to adapt to changing customer behaviors and the tilt towards digital banking, Huntington Bank plans to shut down more than 25 branches by early 2024 across the Midwest, including nine in Michigan, after conducting a thorough analysis of its service network.

To maintain an effective distribution of banking services, including branches, ATMs, and digital platforms, Huntington Bank is set to make adaptations. Notably, this will affect branches in various Michigan locations such as Battle Creek, Belmont, Cass City, Detroit, Clarkston, Lexington, Pinconning, Saginaw, and Midland.
