#23: Snail Economics

It’s funny thinking about explaining economics to snails. It’s like trying to explain calculus to a toddler, except the toddler is a snail and calculus is money. We can only imagine the confusion that must reign in the snail world when it comes to buying and selling goods and services. Do they use shells as currency? Do they barter with leaves and twigs?

But hey, who are we to judge? Maybe the snails have it all figured out, living in a world free from the tyranny of money and consumerism. Or maybe they’re just really bad at math. Either way, we suggest leaving the snails to their own devices and sticking to good old-fashioned capitalism. It might not be perfect, but at least we understand it (sort of).
