#16: Growing Pains

Some parents can’t wait for their kids to grow up and leave the nest, but when they do, they are faced with the harsh reality that kids grow up way too fast. One minute they’re babbling incoherently and drooling on everything in sight, and the next they’re driving off to college and giving us grey hair.

It’s enough to make us want to freeze time and keep our little ones young forever. But alas, we can’t stop the march of time, no matter how hard we try. So we’ll just have to cherish the moments we have, like the time they stuck a Cheerio up their nose or the time they decided to give themselves a haircut with the kitchen scissors. Because let’s face it, those memories will last a lifetime.
