#22: Fit for a Queen

Queen Latifah knows how to keep it real, even when it comes to contracts. The rapper-turned-actress made sure to add a clause to all of her movie contracts that her character must make it to the end of the film and never die. Talk about job security! We can’t blame her for wanting to avoid any tragic on-screen deaths; after all, she’s the queen.

It’s not surprising that Latifah would want to ensure her fans would always get to see her make it to the final credits. Let’s face it, she’s a boss both on and off-screen, so it’s no wonder she wants her characters to be just as unbeatable. Now, if only we could add a clause to our own contracts that say we can’t ever get fired…
