#21: One of a Kind

Tom Cruise is no stranger to action movies, but when it comes to action figures, that’s where he draws the line. The Hollywood superstar reportedly insisted that his likeness cannot be used for any action figures or video game characters. Looks like we won’t be seeing a miniature Tom Cruise in a Mission Impossible action figure set anytime soon.

While it may seem a bit extreme and arbitrary, we can’t blame Cruise for wanting to maintain control over his image. Plus, let’s face it, he’s already a legend; he doesn’t need to be immortalized in plastic form. It’s not every day that a movie star has that kind of pull, but when you’re Tom Cruise, you get to call the shots.
