Cultural Differences

This college student has a very particular problem with Americans: they don’t take their shoes off when visiting other people’s houses. Taking off your shoes when you enter a house is a common gesture in different cultures around the world, but it’s definitely not a part of American culture, and that’s okay.

All cultures and countries around the world have different habits and customs, and there’s nothing wrong with that – that’s what makes it so fun to travel around the world and learn all about the different cultures. When foreigners go to school in the U.S. they are bound to experience a certain culture shock, for better and for worse.
