College football coaches can make some serious cash. It’s undoubtedly a stressful gig, but it can be worth it if you’re good enough to lead your team to victory. Enter Nick Saban. A former coach for the Miami Dolphins, Saban has earned a reputation as one of the greatest football coaches of all time. He’s also the highest-paid of all time. 

As the head coach for Alabaman’s Crimson Tide, Saban raked in a whopping $7.5 million in one year, setting a new record. His income continues to rise, and his records break with each passing year. In 2022, he earned an estimated $10.95 million. Why does he make so much? Well, the University of Alabama has one of the best football teams in the country. Saban’s coaching program takes the Crimson Tide to championships year after year. That’s big money.
