#34: Football Frenzy
College football has always been popular. But in the 2010s, it started getting really popular. So many people jumped on the college football train that the NCAA broke its attendance record five times within six years. That’s a lot of people! In 2011, a record 50 million fans attended a college football game that season.

That 2011 attendance data broke the previous year’s record, which was no easy feat. Attendance records have fluctuated in the years since 2011, but it seems that 2022 has brought an uptick in game attendance. More and more people want to get out and experience an in-person college football game. We don’t blame them. They’re a blast!
