#23: Tailgating, An American Tradition
Any football fan knows that tailgating is one of the best things about attending a game. From stadium parking lots to nearby parks, tons of fans love congregating hours before a game starts. If you’ve never been to a tailgate, you’re missing out! People set up barbecues, pull out coolers, and set up improvised campsites to cook, drink, and hang out.

Tailgating has been around in one form or another since the beginning of American football. With the rise of affordable cars, though, the art form really took off. Some people go all out with their tailgate set-up, bringing along elaborate picnic gear and top-of-the-line RVs. If that’s not your style, all you really need are some hotdogs and a six-pack, and you’re good to go.
