#30: Monsters Under the Bed

There are certain things that are so true that somehow, they transcend time and space. These are truths that everyone seems to know, no matter where they live: things like the fact that it’s bad luck to spill salt if your nose itches, it means someone is talking about you, and if you go outside with wet hair, you’re going to catch a cold.

But this one is perhaps the most important in terms of safety. I mean, do you want the monster under your bed to grab your foot? Seriously, though, I am a grown adult and way beyond believing in monsters, and it still makes me nervous to sleep with my feet uncovered.
