The mysterious brock

Is it a slice of bread, or is it a rock? Nobody knows! That’s the point of this picture. You can spend all day looking at it and not knowing whether this grit-covered object is edible or not. We wouldn’t recommend sinking your teeth into it, because… well… it’s got sand all over it!

Just so we’re clear, this is a rock. You can tell by the end where the “crust” juts outward. If this were a slice of bread, we’d see creases, deeper pores, and possibly ants all over it. Still, this image really makes you wonder. There’s probably a rock out there that looks exactly like a banana or something.
