Not your ordinary housecats

Without paying too much attention, you might think that this is just an ordinary photo of housecats lingering around a swimming pool. That’s what we thought at first, but upon closer inspection, we realized something. There’s only one housecat in this picture. The others are wild predators.

They look like caracals, but we can’t be sure. Caracals typically have pointier ears than these fellas, but we could be wrong. The homeowner was right to snap this picture from afar. There’s no telling what a wild cat will do when it feels threatened. Just let them enjoy the afternoon in peace until they leave.
