Just Say It!
Like Jack Nicholson said in A Few Good Men, “You can’t handle the truth!” He was right. He’s always right. We should listen to him more often. Well, except when he’s chasing people with an ax. The softly sobbing lady below is “The Weeping Woman,” a 1644 oil on canvas by the artistic mastermind, Rembrandt.

It’s said she was one of his students, as he has an additional painting of her titled “A Woman Taken in Adultery.” Rembrandt wasn’t his original name, however. It slowly evolved from Rembrandus Hermanni Leydensis. I guess signing paintings was easier with the change? It’s certainly easier to remember!
